Tai Chi-instructor Bjørn Darboe Nissen held in June 2007
two workshop at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art

Made In China was the title of a well composed exhibition on contemporary Chinese art, held in 2007 at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art just north of Copenhagen.

In connection with Made In China also the Chinese art Tai Chi was presented. It took place twice in June outdoors in the beautiful museum park at sold out workshops lead by Tai Chi-instructor Bjørn Darboe Nissen.

This sunny day the particiants became acquainted with Classic Yang Style. En route the inner aspects of Tai Chi were explained and demonstrated. The participants also got a simple but powerful Tai Chi basic exercise along home, by which they themselves could test the method and its effects.

Louisiana Museum for Modern Art is situated by the coast of North Zealand in a beautiful old park with a view of the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. Louisiana is thus experienced as an interaction between architecture, art and landscape. The collection of the museum comprises international artists as Arp, Francis Bacon, Calder, Dubuffet, Max Ernst, Sam Francis, Giacometti, Kiefer, Henry Moore, Picasso, Rauschenberg and Warhol. Each year Louisiana holds six to eight exhibitions of both classics in modern art and new international artists.
