Tai Chi - Art meet Art

Made In China was the title of a well composed exhibition on contemporary Chinese art, held at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art just north of Copenhagen.

In connection with the exhibition also the Chinese art Tai Chi was presented. This took place outdoors twice in June in the beautiful museum park at sold out workshops lead by Tai Chi-instructor Bjørn Darboe Nissen.

On these sunny days the visitors became acquainted with Classic Yang Style Tai Chi. En route the inner aspects of Tai Chi were explained. The participants also got a simple yet powerful Tai Chi basic exercise along home, by which they themselves could test the method and its effects.

Louisiana Museum of Modern Art is situated by the coast of North Zealand in a beautiful old park with a view of the Sound between Denmark and Sweden. Louisiana is created as an interaction between architecture, art and landscape.
